Shipping — how it works

Everything ships from Mount Vernon, NY via USPS. US-only on day one — international is coming soon.

How long until my order ships?+
We hand-pack every order. Most orders ship within 2–3 business days of being placed. Drops with high volume may take up to 5 days — we'll let you know if so.

You'll get an email the moment it leaves our hands, with a tracking link and a branded tracking page.
What does shipping cost?+
US shipping rates at checkout:
  • Standard ground: $8 · 5–7 business days · USPS Ground Advantage
  • Priority: $15 · 2–3 business days · USPS Priority Mail
  • Express: $28 · 1–2 business days · USPS Priority Express

Free standard shipping on US orders over $200.
Do you ship internationally?+
Not yet — we're US-only at launch. We're working on Canada and EU shipping for our next drop. Sign up for the newsletter and we'll let you know the moment it goes live.
Where's my tracking number?+
Tracking arrives via email the moment we hand the box to USPS. Check your spam folder if you don't see it — and check your account for a backup link.
My package says delivered but I don't have it+
USPS occasionally marks packages "delivered" up to 24h before they actually arrive. Wait 1–2 business days and check with neighbors / building staff. If it still hasn't surfaced, email hi@billuptheworld.com and we'll file a USPS claim and re-ship or refund.

Returns & exchanges

We want you to actually wear it. If something doesn't fit or doesn't feel right, send it back.

What's your return window?+
14 days from delivery for a full refund. Item must be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached. We trust you — please don't make us add weird rules.
How do I start a return?+
Reply to your order confirmation email with "I'd like to return" and your order number. We'll send a prepaid return label within 24 hours. You pay return shipping ($6 deducted from your refund) — unless the item arrived damaged or wrong, then we cover it.
Can I exchange instead of refund?+
Yes. Tell us in the return email what you want instead. We'll hold your size in the new piece while your return is in transit so it doesn't sell out.
What's a "final sale" item?+
Some pieces (occasional one-offs, sale items, samples) are marked final sale on their product page. Those can't be returned. Everything else is returnable in 14 days.

All our pieces run true to size unless we say otherwise. Here's how the numbers map.

Do hoodies run big or small?+
Our hoodies are designed slightly oversized. If you're between sizes, take your usual. If you want a more relaxed fit, size up one.
What about beanies?+
All beanies are one size, watchcap silhouette with a 2" cuff. Fits adult head circumference 21"–24".
Belts?+
One size, fits waists 28"–38" (5 hole positions, evenly spaced).

Care & materials

We make pieces meant to be worn until they fall apart. Treat them right and they'll last for years.

How do I wash a knit?+
Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry. Pills will form — they're a feature, not a bug. Steam to refresh between washes (don't over-wash knits).
Hoodies & tees?+
Machine wash cold inside-out, tumble dry low. Heavy garments hold up best on a clothesline. Don't iron over printed graphics.

Drops & restocks

We work in drops, not collections. Here's how the rhythm works.

How often do you drop?+
Three or four times a year — usually spring, summer, fall, holiday. Subscribers get a preview email 30 hours before public open, with a 6-hour head start to shop.
Will sold-out pieces come back?+
Usually no. Each drop is small-batch and final — when it closes, it closes. Some core pieces (like the Butterfly Beanie) may return in new colorways in future drops. Add an item to your wishlist and we'll email you if it ever comes back.

Orders & account

Do I need an account to order?+
No — guest checkout works fine. But signing up takes 15 seconds (just email + password), and you get to track orders, save addresses, and join the list.
Can I cancel or change an order?+
Yes — as long as it hasn't shipped. Cancel via the order page or reply to your confirmation email. Once shipped, treat it as a return.
I forgot my password+
From the sign-in page, tap "Forgot password" and we'll send a reset link to your inbox.
